Full Disclosure, my basis for judgement:  I haven’t read everything by Elle Kennedy, but I have read a LOT (maybe too much?) because I feel like even when sometimes the MMC can be a little interchangeable, Kennedy always delivers on the well-written spice, the just-enough-drama/trauma to keep things interesting and there's often actual emotional development.
